Elliot Wilks is a commercial and narrative director from New Zealand (aka a Kiwi) who has called Charlotte, North Carolina, home for the past six years. His portfolio includes work for Harley-Davidson, Duke Energy, Burn Boot Camp, and the Charlotte Hornets. With a background in post-production and VFX, he understands how every shot fits into the finished film well before the cameras land on set.

Whether directing commercials or narrative films, Elliot has a knack for reading what each client and story call for, crafting a distinct tone and feel for every project. Known for his detail-oriented, hands-on approach, Elliot is involved in every stage of production, from pre-production through the final pass in post, collaborating closely with his team, not from the sidelines.

Off set, he's usually developing a short film, watching rugby league, or reading up on history.
